This is so incredible, I'm gonna cry. Only three people are responsible for this work of art, that's insane. The music arrangement is at such a high level, I guess Jonathan is a professional at this, everything sounds perfect. The art in the movie is such emotional, it gives goosebumps and really matches with every line of the songs. Eve's animators are going to have a competitor. And Trickle-san. First things first, this work wouldn't be here without you, second - goddamn, what. a. VOICE. Third - the lyrics. It's heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. Keeping in mind your faith background, they're getting even more interesting and personal. I thank everyone for their hard work, guys, you're truly amazing!

Trickle is the Eve of English songs, you cannot deny. You can listen over and over again and not get bored. I love how at the start it slowly grow intense and softer, and just lets all the anger inside, escape.
I don't know how but listening to this song is like watching a emotinal movie just... Its just so awesome!
This relates to my life so much and it touches me deep down.. This song will be my reason, reason to enjoy life

The character in the video seemed to start transforming into one of those creatures, so potentially spending too much time in the ghost town distorts you? This would also make sense with homunculus in which “I realised in my last life that I hate the light”

Wow... I loved the beat, the piano... The way you were able to push and pull the music was amazing! I loved how you used a softer voice for more of this song, really making the louder emotions shine. I loved the symbolism, and how much sorrow and hope can be found under all the glowing creativity. I was simply smiling at the end of it because it felt so real, despite being an animated MV for a song. When I say "real," I mean that the feelings and struggles portrayed in this song were really powerful, and I thought it was a wonderful addition to your other two works, which also capture this element wonderfully. I have a theory; in the intro, it shows Trickle (as a character) in the water, which might mean (as a character), he might be dead and was reincarnated in the Ghost Town with Shoku bound to his body. I could be wrong though 🙃

I have no words for how amazing this is but I'll try! I myself have struggled with depression and this series captures it so fucking well. I've seen a lot of people try to capture what it's like to be so deep in depression but this is by far the best. This isn't you trying to capture the feeling of depression, this is you succeeding. Most of all, I'm glad to hear you found something that helped ease something so painful. I hope you're doing a lot better and continue to stay/get better!

Something I noticed while listening to this song on repeat, is in the background what I interpreted as bells and railway stop light sounds are playing, signifying death and the choices you have to make drawing near

I knew Ghost Town, and when I went to talk about how good the song, though tragically short, was, I found out there was a sequel? I briefly looked and found it, and oh my god, I'm blown away. This song is bottled lightning and conjured magic. Emotion, Story and Sound woven into a beautiful song that I can't stop listening to, as it gets my mind whirring every time.
All that is to say: Trickle, you're amazing. Keep it up.

This blew me away completely. I've always always been someone who just enjoys music for the beat and likes a good upbeat song to vibe to. But the punch of this song and the hook just grabbed me so well and bled the message straight through to my ears. Love this from start to finish; it's an actual masterpiece what you've made here.

"Wake me up when you've found mine" resonates so much with my struggle, a struggle often of fearfully proud refusal from my end, to identify when I should rely on myself and when I should rely on others. And witnessing our boy in the video fly and walk and smile even with all that struggle reminds me of how reality, the truth, really is: not some confirmation of our cynicism, but goodness that always has, is, and will be even when no one else, our own selves included, believes in it. Again, Trickle, I'm freaking glad and grateful that you're here with your freaking humbling work, my brother in nerdiness and in Christ.

Homunculus is still my favorite and when I saw him I was baffled.

Nothing like crying to a song at 1:00am in the morning. This is the best meaningful song I've heard in such a long time. I loved to hear that your Christian, too. I'm Catholic, but I know they are very similar. I watched this earlier today with my sister, because I knew she would want to see this too. I was so excited for this, and she was too. THIS IS AN AWESOME SONG! You put so much emotion in to this and I could feel it. This hits deep. Thank you so much for creating this awesome and meaningful song! The long awaited original song is out! And like everyone has said it's amazing Trickle! Everyone did an amazing job like I seriously can't discredit ANYONE here, your vocals, music arrangements, sfx, and mv.
Now onto the theories I'm sure you've been looking forward to seeing;
I'd like to through out first I have zero idea what Limon is doing here or what he represents so until we get more lore. However seeing as this is the underworld it's possible that he's here because of his nightmares or maybe he failed to shake off his sense of insecurity calling himself a "worthless homunculus" and he tried to end it all and ended up in this place. My reason for this is the use of "second chance" in the lyrics and how uhhh Trickle (I don't think you've given him a name yet, and he's basically your Avatar lol) tries to end it all in the beginning but ends up in the underworld, which isn't death yet but an in-between, Trickle clearly is scared- the first sign of the desire to live. Later on, we begin to see his Omamori, protective charm, kicks up born from the hunger to live which is also made reference to in the lyrics "There's something starving inside" and "My worthless purpose cries, I want to feel alive". The Omamori takes a literal form which is on his stomach as that second mouth which begins to eat away at everything because Trickle had gotten sick of hiding, sick of repressing enotions and made to fear, his emotions couldn't be bottled up anymore and they had to come out.
We eventually see a more unhinged version of Trickle which I think is the Omamori at it's full possession, it has become Trickle to protect him and I say this because as soon as Omamori Trickle looks at a puddle the possession is immediately broken and he returns back to normal meaning he wasn't really himself evidently shown by the unreadable lyrics in the MV
After regaining his senses he's empty and wants to let go again till he realizes he's gonna keep fighting, then winds back at a train station where he's ready to return back to living again.
Oh and I believe the thing he keeps seeing whenever he closes his eyes are his own bottled up emotions that he had refused to face all this time which is one of the things that led to his acceptance of his second chance which again is remarked by the lyrics!
And that's pretty much all I gathered from the MV, it was pretty fun to go back and listen to while checking the lyrics while looking out for visual cues that gave off any hints too cause I noticed the Omamori one reaaally early and it was cool!

This animation is giving some combination between omori and to your eternity and I’m totally here for it.

I'm happy to see wolf, sheep, and Homunculus make appearances.

Okay so :
- the song is incredible,
- the MV is beautiful,
- the lore is super interesting,

I'm so intrigued by the scene where we can see the wolf and the lamb, which are the souls inside Limon, fighting against each other, I can't wait to find out how Limon is connected 🔥🔥
My theory for now is that Ghost Town is a sort of afterlife place where you can have the possibility to "prove" that you're worthy of being reincarnated, explaining why it's been given to him "a second chance" in this "afterlife" 🤔🤔

This deserves a lot more views come on!!!

This is truly a masterpiece. I’ve listened to this so many times already, and I’m amazed by the amount of detail and emotion in this piece. I’ve been really interested in the story since you released Ghost Town, but now I can say I’m truly invested and eager to see what awaits in the future of the Ghost Town project! I honestly believe this is the greatest thing Trickle has produced yet. As much as I love Homunculus and your cover of Yobanashi Deceive, Omamori takes the cake! From the lyrics and vocals building this world and story to Jonathan’s arrangement and Nezzu’s animation, this is truly a piece of art!
I’m going to attempt to piece together a possible story so far. However, since there are currently only three songs in Ghost Town, I’m probably very, VERY far off. Forgive me. I’ll be making guesses regarding matching the names to characters, as well. I’ll be calling the blue eyed protagonist Trickle.
Trickle’s character, I’ll just say Trickle, felt lost and alone. I’m not sure if in Ghost Town he’s actually a ghost (who previously died by drowning) or if he’s alive but doesn’t feel like it (having tried to live a mundane life despite being tired of feeling worthless and lonely, and thinking it’s too late to change his situation). But, whichever it is, he felt unimportant and depressed, resulting in jumping off of a building to end his own life.
Despite his views and intentions, an entity I’ll call Shoku (unsure that I’m matching up the names right 😓) decided to bring him back within a sort of spirit world. This flame-shaped spirit lives within Trickle, restarting his heart and waking him up while he’s in the other world. Somewhere between dead and alive, Trickle is given a second chance but doesn’t understand why.
Shoku isn’t just doing good deeds, however, and likely has his own motives. I think it’s some kind of symbiotic or even parasitic relationship, where Shoku is sealed within Trickle but is hungry and wants out. When released (the hoodie being unzipped), Shoku is able to take control and unleash his own power through Trickle’s body. You can tell that Shoku is in control by the yellow eyes.
This is probably pretty draining though, particularly on Trickle’s mental health, as he fosters a monster inside him that’s always hungry and wanting to be let out. Not only that, but the life he threw away came back like a boomerang hitting him over the head. He didn’t want another chance, so why is he still here? What purpose could he have left?
At first, Trickle is afraid of this strange, unfamiliar world. He doesn’t want to be there, so he refuses help from the conductor and tries to run away. He just wants to sleep it all away, and tries to just keep running and hiding, but he can’t escape what’s within him nor the world he’s in.
He eventually has to learn how to accept the hand he’s been given. He still doesn’t know what the reason for his revival is, but he’s going to find his own reason to live instead of waiting for some purpose to find him. He finds the kind conductor again, this time ready to live (and possibly getting along with Shoku).
I also want to note that an Omamori is a talisman believed to ward off evil spirits or bring its carrier fortune. You can see an Omamori in Trickle’s hair, bearing Shoku’s symbol. These symbols are all over his clothing, as well. Possibly sealing Shoku within the clothing’s confines, or protecting Trickle from him? Also, Omamori are typically sold at Buddhist temples or Shinto shrines.
Shoku’s name relates to food in Japan. It can mean “eating”, as both the act of eating and the culture surrounding eating meals in Japan. “Subscribe or I’ll eat you!” is certainly no empty threat when it comes to Shoku… better subscribe to Trickle!! (Shōkū was also the name of a monk that founded the Seizan branch of Buddhism, though that’s probably unrelated)
Again, this is all just a theory. I have no clue how much if any of this is right, but it’s been fun to try and break down the MV and song to piece this together! This truly is a remarkable piece, I’m looking forward to anything you do next! To anyone who read through all this speculation, have a wonderful day! 💕

Trickle, you never fail to amaze me. The lyrics of Omamori have struck me far more than I expected- I have been dealing with some very rough times, and listening to this song has really given me time to think about the bigger picture. "I think it's time that I've found mine." Is such a beautiful way of closing such a heartfelt message, with a truly hopeful look into life that otherwise has made us think we don't deserve the second chances given to us. In truth, giving ourselves to God and letting Him give us that chance, the strength that we need to push on, is so beautiful that oftentimes we doubt if we deserve His love, but He does it anyways and I think parts of this song really highlight that.
I had been starting to falter in my own faith because of my tough life circumstances, but I am starting to look at the brighter side, and I believe that I can rely on Him to seek a better life and make Him proud, I will work hard. Through your music I have found a little bit of that "purpose" and no words can really help me describe it. I can only wish I was a bit more knowledgeable on music to comment on the genuine quality of this song, but unfortunately I can only say it sounds, looks, and feels amazing haha.

ALSO "Everything has a purpose right? I think it's time that I've found mine." IS ALSO SO GOOD. IT'S A HOPEFUL END TO A BEAUTIFUL SONG AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

Last year in the fall I had a falling out with a friend close to me. Little did I realize that they were toxic and bringing me down. It was all about them and I was blind to it. The falling out with her was grace from God to be completely honest. It took me a month to realize and open my eyes to how toxic they actually were. And how they were bringing me down with them.
That weekend Homunculus came out.
The lyrics to me screamed shame and hatred for oneself. But still had the hope of redemption. It finally clicked that there was a way out of this shame. At the time her leaving inspired me to change. But Homunculus encouraged me even more so. And I believe God used that to bring me closer to him for the better. The line "take it back, I don't want mine!" Just screams the condemnation I put myself under before I allowed God to pick me up again.
Now fast forward to this fall, Omamori and it's lyrics is reminding me how much I changed and how God did give me that second chance. He didn't have to but he did. This is what it means to me.
Reminding me how much I've changed since last fall and that I actually stuck with my New Year's resolutions. God bless you, Trickle.
