haha it's funny, because around 2005 this song was released in Germany (the German version) and I remember being in 5th grade where Tokio Hotel was kinda the "Justin Bieber" of our generation, everybody hated them. But after hearing this song 10 years later I think that it's way better than most of the music nowadays! I even enjoy hearing this song now :p

I remember growing up loving this song. When I moved to England, I didn't speak the language, and as a result of that I often spent my breaks in primary school alone. Since they didn't allow phones/music devices, I had written down the lyrics to Monsoon in a small notebook and I'd sit or walk around alone singing this song to myself time and time again. It really holds a special place in my heart. Also, happy 2022 everyone with great taste!

I've grown up, have a husband and a little girl, but there are things, that never change in life. Still in love with Bill 😂 so many good memories... waiting in front of the TV to see one of their videos, learning german just to understand their lyrics, or interviews, have so many posters and pictures on your wall, dreaming about seeing them in person... This band will take a very special place in my heart forever...❤️
One day when I was about 12-13 my best friend told me she found this amazing band and we became die hard fans from day one. We also learned german to understand lyrics and interviews, when I got my first cd from them I was the happiest person alive. We had a thing where she loved Tom and I loved Bill hahahh. Everything you said was exactly how it was for us. Listening to them 13 years later makes me want to cry and smile at the same time ❤️❤️

My favorite thing about this song is how "clean" the instrumental part sounds. No useless noises, no instrument louder than necessary, no headaches, the singer's voice is here and clear even in the soft parts. Great listening experience unlike many beautiful rock songs that I love but don't listen to very often, where the experience is partly ruined by unnecessarily overwhelming sounds and messy arrangements.

If you can’t handle the power of distorted shredding guitars, sick drum fills and mighty vocals then don’t listen to rock🤘
Well in order for rock to sound really for best results so you can pretty much hear every instrumental separation with clarity first of all you need to listen to it to with some high tier headphones not the cheap ones
